You might have caught him on FalloutLaw & Order, Blue Bloods, Shades of Blue, Boardwalk Empire – to name a few.

As a SAG Award nominee and two-time Sundance Film Festival alum, he starred in the critically-acclaimed horror An Unquiet Grave (SHUDDER) and is a supporting lead in the courtroom comedy One of the Good Ones (Amazon Prime). He stars in the surreal comedy short You Wouldn't Understand (2021 Sundance) and is a supporting lead in the psychological thriller short Prime (2026 Sundance). Currently he battles it out on-screen with Kim Rhodes in the drama Nowhere Good (Best Actor nom at 2026 Garden State Film Fesitval, winner Best Actor at 2026 NOVA Fest) directed by Ohio's own, Bryant Carroll.

For genre freaks in 2025, he starred in the body horror short Pandora Inc. (Frightfest London) as well as in the psychological short The Man & The Scarecrow (Brooklyn Horror Film Festival).

Podcasts lovers, you can hear him on The Table Read Podcast's The G.Y.M. (live at SXSW 2026) and the Playwrights Horizons/Soundstage episodic series, The MS Phoenix Rising, a satirical comedy that The New Yorker called "among the funniest to emerge from the pandemic," from the genius of Trish Harnetiaux. 

On-stage in 2026 he starred in the Sam Shepard classic Fool For Love at Shaker Bridge Theatre. In 2025 he appeared in MACo's production of Wharton Between the Sheets at Town Hall Theater in Vermont, and has helped developed Trish Harnetiaux's play Bender and Brian (dir. Knud Adams).

​Jacob is the co-creator of a mini-documentary series following the creation of the USL professional soccer team, Spokane Velocity FC. He has also written series for HuffPo, HuffPo Live, AOL, RYOT Studio, and Xfinity.

He has a Scottish Fold cat named Lunch who he loves very much.
